The Albert Newton Ridenour Family

Note: In 1990, I found out that my great grandfather Earl Ridenour [See Ridenour Family] had a brother named Albert Ridenour who was a Presbyterian minister in East Texas. A few years ago I found Albert's death certificate and discovered that East Texas meant Sulphur Springs, TX. On his death certificate, a Farrell Ridenour was the Informant. My dad and I visited their graves and discovered more Ridenours nearby like Nathaniel Lee and Richard L. Ridenour. I did not know how they were related until I received an email on the day Frankie Kent Ridenour died, on 3/4/2012. Shelby Barientos was going to the funeral from Louisiana and she wanted to know if we were related. Through email, texting, and research on my part, she helped me put the family together. This webpage was the result of that day. I have recently received emails from Charla Thompson Cross and Debbie Dailey who helped me with the rest of the family. I didn't realize that Farrell had three other children besides Nathaniel Lee Ridenour. Thanks ladies for the help - Paul Ridenour 2/13/2013
Albert's parents were George T. Ridenour and Mary Ellen (Bent) Ridenour. Click here for the rest of the family back seven more generations.
