Sound Theology was
a Contemporary Christian band based out of Casa View Baptist
Church in Dallas, Texas. The band was founded around
1987. The goal was to bring the message of Jesus Christ
through song to church youth in Texas and surrounding areas
who could not afford the mainstream bands. We only accepted
love offerings and always gave an invitation to salvation at our
concerts.
The band members were:
Mark Smith - Lead singer, acoustic and electric guitars
Dennis Mink - Lead guitar
Chris Chumley - Bass guitar and backing vocals
Mike Judd - Keyboards and backing vocals
Paul Ridenour - Drums and backing vocals
David Seay - Sound engineer
Steve Arbanas - Assistant sound engineer
Earlier band members:
Clay Camp - Drums and backing vocals
Becky New - Keyboards
Walter Clark - Trumpet
