"Charles Fighting Reese" and full-blood Cherokee Nancy Adair. Susannah and
brother Charles Reese, Jr., were their only children.]

1. Dawnee Watie (circa 1800 - 9/27/1812) - she died at the Moravian Mission. Buried at Springplace Moravian Mission Cemetery, GA.
2. Peggy "Wakie" Watie - There was also one other daughter who died while making turpentine. Susannah Charity Watie was boiling whatever to make the stuff and the little girl caught fire and died! Dawnee was around 11 or so when she died, this was when Elias was little and Stand probably wasn't born yet - info given to me by Julia Autry, Vann House, Calhoun, GA.

John Daniel is buried in Rolston Cemetery on Monkey Island near the original cemetery where the Watie family and James M. Bell were buried.
